Jonathan Parkin

I have been passionate about singing, performing and music from a very early age. Throughout my school life I was involved in numerous shows, bands, orchestras and concerts and this is where my love for singing was nurtured.

When I was eighteen, I was awarded a scholarship to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Here I played roles such as Frederick in 'The Pirates of Penzance' and Ron in 'Hair'. I was then lucky enough to go on to work professionally playing the title role in  'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' as well as creating the role of Bernado in the musical 'Carrots'. I have also worked alongside many TV personalities for Christmas seasons in Pantomine.

I now teach singing full time to both professionals and budding vocalists in all aspects of vocal technique. I currently have a private client base of around 30 pupils whom I see weekly, in addition to working in a number of primary and secondary schools across Essex. My students work towards a variety of goals such as auditions, performances, exams and much more.

If you are an experienced singer or somebody just starting out, no matter what your age, I would love to work with you.

I'd love to hear from you!
